The tennis pavilion

The College has two all-weather hard surface tennis courts. Bookings can be made and keys obtained from the Lodge.

The tennis pavilion was put up in the late 1940s and was given for the use of medics from the former Radcliffe Infirmary next door. An inscription in the pavilion records how it was given in memory of Brian Ingram Johnson BM, MA of Christ Church College and the Radcliffe Infirmary, who died on 19 March 1949 aged 28, by his mother, brother and sisters.
