Scholarships DPhil

Deadline: Friday 16 December 2016 (for October 2017 entry)

Value: Full fees, travel costs and stipend

Restrictions: Indigenous Australians only

Deadline: Wednesday 4 January 2017

Value: Full fees and living costs (at the Research Council UK minimum stipend rate) for 3 years, with possibility of stipend and payment of university continuation charge in year 4 if required

Restrictions: New DPhil students in Management Studies only (includes both Management Research and Financial Economics routes)

Deadline: Friday 6 January 2017 (University Application Deadline 2)

Value: GTC will fund the difference between Home/EU fees and Overseas fees, for up to four years. All other expenses are covered by a Studentship at the Medical Sciences Doctoral Training Centre

Restrictions: overseas students beginning a Doctoral programme at the Medical Sciences Doctoral Training Centre in October 2017

Deadline: Wednesday 4 January (Management Studies); Friday 6 January (Politics & International Relations); Friday 20 January 2017 (all other Social Sciences) (University Application Deadline 2)

Value: £7,000 from College as part of Clarendon Award, for the duration of the award

Restrictions: One award for new students applying to a Social Sciences Division programme; one for new students applying to the DPhil in Management Studies

Deadline: Monday 6 February 2017. DPhil programme applications should be made by the University's January Application Deadline.

Value: Full funding (University and College fees, plus living costs at the Research Council UK minimum stipend rate) for up to 3 years

Restrictions: Available to any student currently undertaking a taught Masters programme at Oxford University OR who completed a taught Masters at Oxford in academic year 2015/16, and planning to proceed to a DPhil in the Social Sciences Division in October 2017

Deadline: Friday 6 January 2017 (University Application Deadline 2)

Value: Full University and College fees, and stipend of £18,000 per year

Restrictions: Candidates applying to begin a DPhil in Medical Sciences at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine in October 2017

Deadline: Monday 13 March 2017

Value: £6,000 per year for up to 3 years

Restrictions: For a student with research interests in the area of healthcare organization and management. Incoming and continuing students may apply.

Deadline: Friday 6 January 2017 (University Application Deadline 2)

Value: University fees at Home/EU rate, College fees, and stipend of £18,000 per year

Restrictions: Students beginning a DPhil in Primary Health Care in October 2017. Students with overseas fee status are welcome to apply but will need to fund the remainder of their tuition fees from alternative sources
