Oxford & Cambridge Boat Races: GTC Viewing - Sunday 2 April

Putney – Mortlake

Women’s race: 4.35pm
Men’s race: 5.35pm

A number of GTC students are racing in the Oxford vs. Cambridge Women's Boat Race this year on Sunday April 2nd! Isa (OUWBC president), Chloe (rower), Jenny (rower), Clarissa (cox), and Jess (cox) would love your support on the day!

The Green Templeton Boat Club have therefore organised a get-together for all GTC supporters at the Black Lion Pub in Hammersmith. Only 50m from the riverfront, it is perfectly positioned on the sweeping 'make or break' bend for great views of the race. There will also be a widescreen TV inside if you want to dash back in and watch the start/finish of the race. Catch up with old friends, or make some new ones, and enjoy some exciting races! The event will begin at 2pm and food will be served from 3pm.

The cost is £25 per person, which covers function room hire and a finger food buffet. Drinks can be purchased from the bar. Donations to the GTC Boat Club are also welcome, either now or on the day. The capacity of the event is 80 people, and we do expect tickets to sell out fast.
