While Green Templeton is the newest Oxford College, it’s the proud guardian of the iconic Radcliffe Observatory, amongst other historic buildings. At the same time, the College needs to ensure that all facilities meet today’s high standards in terms of comfort, health and safety, and access.
Two of our top priorities are:
• Continued restoration/preservation of the Radcliffe Observatory - The College is looking to raise a further £1m to safeguard the future of the Radcliffe Observatory.
• Student accommodation: Many of the rooms the College provides are now in need of structural repair and a major overhaul of the decoration, fixtures and fittings. Combining these needs with the essential provision of 21st century technology and resources, and the call on additional funding is greater than ever. Over the next five years, the College will have to find £3m to achieve these goals, rising to £5m over the next decade.
