Graduating in Absentia
If you are not able to attend a ceremony, you may have your degree conferred in absentia (in absence) at any ceremony. Please note that if you take your degree in absentia you will not be able to attend a ceremony at a later date.

See more information about graduating in absentia.

Degree certificates

You will receive your degree certificate automatically following graduation whether you graduate in person or in absence.

Special requirements

Graduands requiring special seating arrangements for themselves or guests (eg. due to a disability) should ensure that they indicate this when booking so that both the University and College event organisers can plan where to accommodate you/your guests most comfortably and conveniently.
