Medical Anthropology Discussion Group

The Medical Anthropology Discussion Group provides an informal forum primarily for students who have work experience or research interests in conventional and non-conventional medicine, and any other form of health care.

Meetings typically take place on Tuesdays, 5-6 pm. They consist of a 30-minute presentation followed by discussion. Themes discussed in the group centre on health care in different cultural settings. Mostly, but by no means exclusively, Masters students in medical anthropology report on their often remarkable life and work experiences.

Nadine Levin is the current co-convenor, and can be contacted if you wish to contribute to or obtain the programme. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
