The keynote speakers at the sixth annual Green Templeton Human Welfare Conference (HWC) have been announced.

Professor Dani Rodrik, Professor of International Political Economy at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and Sir Muir Gray, Director of Better Value Healthcare Ltd, former Chief Knowledge Officer to the NHS, and GTC Emeritus Fellow will both be presenting.

The HWC Committee has also launched a competition for GTC students to design a promotional poster for the Conference.

This year's Conference theme is Well defined? Interdisciplinary understandings of human welfare, and panels will consider topics including humanitarian and human rights conflict, measurement, mental and psychological wellbeing, decisions/choice/freedom, international perspectives on social justice and policy, and migration.

Any poster design that captures the essence of the Conference theme and panels is welcomed, say the Committee.

The entrant with the winning design will receive a complimentary invitation to the two-day conference and a small remuneration.

Please if you are interested to find out more. All poster entries (in jpeg format) should be submitted by Sunday 31 March 2013.

Please visit the HWC website for details of the Conference: ticket sales will start soon.
