The interior of the Tower of The Winds (the upper levels of the Radcliffe Observatory) is generally closed to the public and only available for private, guided viewing by Green Templeton College members. On September 9th and 10th, as part of the Oxford Open Doors celebration, the Tower will be open to the public between 10 am and 3:30 pm. During this time, members of the public will be able to visit the upper levels of the Observatory with the assistance of College students and staff. All are invited to explore the interior of the Tower of the Winds at this time.

The theme for Oxford Open Doors 2017 is ‘Hidden Oxford’ and the Radcliffe Observatory will be participating for the first time. For a complete list of venues, please visit the Oxford Preservation Trust Website.
