Tennis Court Project

Seven architecture teams have been selected to submit proposals for a new building at Green Templeton College. This new ‘tennis court project’ (built on the site of the College's current tennis courts) will serve as a new accommodation building to meet the College’s housing needs and will include 80 single-occupancy en-suite rooms. Candidates include Eric Parry, Feilden Fowles, Haworth Tompkins, Sergison Bates, Stanton Williams, Tim Ronalds, and Walters & Cohen.

These teams are to create ‘a modern building which embodies the college’s ethos of making the world a better place to live in’. Principal Denise Lievesley added that ‘our core objective is to improve the experience of the extraordinary students we are proud to have at College. I believe that with the right architectural partner we can do just that.’

College leadership will decide which company to select in September. Until then, GTC members can review and provide feedback to each team’s submission by viewing them all in the GTC Library.
