PennyPenny Ehrhardt, a DPhil candidate in Law and a Green Templeton student, has been nominated for the Role Model Award in the inaugural Vice-Chancellor's Diversity Awards. These awards 'celebrate work across the University to promote and support equality and diversity.'The Awards Ceremony will be hosed by the Vice-Chancellor on Tuesday 8 May at the Sultan Nazrin Shah Centre, Worcester College. 

Penny  is a finalist in the only category that is not self-nominated. Her nomination states the following:

Penny is an active champion for students with families, and for LGBTQ+ and indigenous rights. As a member of Green Templeton College and through reaching out to other colleges, Penny has campaigned to ensure that students with families, particularly single-parents and those with older children, feel welcome and supported, and that their needs are considered and accommodated in college and university life. She works with faith groups, international students, and LGBTQ+ groups: running events; acting as a visible champion in the community; and supporting underrepresented groups to deliver change.
