Glaze 3The Assembly for the Digital Age is a newly registered charity in Edinburgh, Scotland that has been founded by Iain Osborne and Robert Glaze. The ADA will initially begin exploring new concepts in lifetime digital education, digital ethics, appropriate digital technologies and the digitally disenfranchised that replace the education and business models of today which are accelerating the decay and decline of humanity.

“We are so privileged to have gathered together a few of the UK and Europe’s finer minds to support us in developing this new venture that my longtime friend and colleague Robert Glaze calls a radical mutation in the development of a new permeable membrane that will allow digital to achieve its potential in serving the diverse needs of humanity. The damage now being done to civilization by existing digital strategies must be abated and redirected from social and economic violence, gender inequality and those billions of people who are forgotten in this new world.” said Iain Osborne

“The ADA will be a global convening process to rethink the business and ethical assumptions of the original digital emergence of the 1990’s and move toward a more holistically focused approach that positions digital as a social agent and a tool for increased localization of business and economies. The beneficiaries of digital to date have been the few and not the many of the world, even in developed countries. Iain is one of the more enlightened individuals that sees beyond the present digital business models that are either extracting from or failing the people of the world.” said Robert Glaze.

Collaboratory’s and web presence will be established in Q3/Q4 2018 in Edinburgh, Scotland; Oxford, England; Oslo, Norway, Zurich, Switzerland and Colorado, USA.

Iain Osborne is today a Digital and Social Philosopher who once led European efforts for Yahoo Europe, Chello Media and many other digital emergences. He also led the resurgence of Hilton, Slazenger and other global firms. He was an early voice warning about the eventual carnage that will come from behavioral economics.

Robert Glaze is an interdisciplinary thinker who been at the forefront of the development and deployment of large scale management development, digital networks and systems since the 1990’s. He is an Associate Fellow at Oxford University, Moderator of the Oxford Praxis Forum, An executive faculty Member at The Zurich Institute of Business, the Senior Fellow at the European Risk Policy Institute and a digital and business authority for the Peter Lorange Network.

Both Iain Osborne and Robert Glaze have survived serious and potentially life ending health conditions in the past two years but have recovered and will spend a great deal of their time on the lessons they have learned from the past, the risks of the present and the architecture of a new approach to the future.
