The runner-up prize was awarded to Brendan Harmon (MPhil, Biodiversity, Conservation, and Management) for his atmospheric shot of the Observatory through an early evening mist.

Deb and Brendan both win cash prizes and the winning image will also be used on a College notecard.

Three other entries - from Sean Grant, Tim Hannigan and Karl Segnoe - were very highly commended by the judging panel.

This second annual GTC photography competition took as its theme Green Templeton College in Autumn and aimed to find a stunning original image of the College by a GTC member to use as a notecard/greetings card which will be on sale as part of the GTC collection of merchandise.  This year, almost 30 College members entered the competition submitting 45 individual photographs.

The competition is made possible by a generous gift from Dr Elman Poole, a retired neurologist living in Oxford who is also a Common Room Member.
