Green Templeton College | Oxford

Congratulations to Eva Kohler for her winning entry in Green Templeton College’s 2017 Photography Competition. Eva’s stunning photograph 'View' captures a quiet moment of contemplation in front of the Radcliffe Observatory. Of her photo, she says 'I live in Observer's House and what I particularly treasure with regard to studying at Oxford is the beautiful view I have when looking out of the window of my room. For me, the photo which shows my friend and GTC student in a student room in Observer's House captures the idea of living on the GCT campus--life is strongly characterized by studying but when doing so, there are always the short moments in between in which you can lift your eyes away from your reading list's books and take a look at the beautiful Radcliffe Observatory.'

The Green Templeton College Photography Competition began in 2009 to showcase the creative talents of the College's members. The competition is made possible by the generous support of Dr Elman Poole, a Common Room Member and a retired neurologist living in Oxford, who has long had an interest in photography. The theme of this year's eighth annual Green Templeton Photography Competition was ‘Green Templeton: Moments I shall treasure’.
