Professor Stephen J Tucker

Professor Stephen J Tucker is Dean (Discipline), a Governing Body Fellow and a member of the Student Welfare Committee of Green Templeton College, University of Oxford. He is a Professor of Biophysics in the Department of Physics and is based in the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery.

Research area

The Tucker Lab studies how ion channels conduct electrical currents across biological membranes. In particular, they are interested in the structure and function of a variety of K+ ion channels involved in health and disease.
