Click and Collect Lunch Service
The Green Templeton kitchens are open for a Click and Collect Lunch service. This is open to students, fellows and staff, and the menu options include a hot main or baguette, sweet items and fruit.
Although there will be no seating in the dining room at this time, the Common Room will be open 11:00 to 14:30 over these periods to enjoy your meal. Additional casual seating will be provided in a marquee on the lawns in front of the observatory on a first come, first served basis. The cut-off for ordering lunch will be 12:00 one working day prior to your booking (except for Monday Lunches, which will be 12:00 on Friday) and collection will be from 12:00 to 13:45 in pre-booked 15-minute time slots.
For both lunches and dinners, students wishing to order food for friends/family may do so and guest bookings are now available on our meal bookings site.
Student Click and Collect Dinners
In addition to the lunch service we will also be running Click and Collect dinner services on Tuesday evenings until the end of July 18:30-20:00. This is open to students and their guests only and will comprise of a pre-ordered 2 course (Main and pudding) meal for £5.80 for students and £5.80 plus VAT for guests with the option to add an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.
Students will have the option to book a standard set meal and add an alcoholic or soft drink in advance. At the point of booking you are requested to add any dietary requirements e.g. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free. The kitchen team will then ensure a suitable meal is catered for your dietary requirements.
For lunch and dinner service the Common Room be open and additional casual seating will be provided in a marquee on the lawn in front of the Observatory. Please adhere to room capacity signage and social distancing. The cut-off for ordering dinner will be 12:00 Friday, collection will be from 18:30-20:00 in pre-booked 15-minute time slots.
We have opened up additional formal dinner dates in August up until the Catering shut down (Saturday 14 August to Monday 30 August inclusive) following university guidance but please bear in mind we are still limited on space due to social distancing regulations. We would like to remind you that by signing up to a college dinner you will agreeing to sit in mixed tables of 6 from a range of households and will be regarded as close contacts for all table dinner guests for track and trace purposes.
This is currently open to Green Templeton students only, guests will be permitted once all GTC Members have had the opportunity to have a college dinner. Formal dinner is £13.50 for students with the option to add wine for £7.56( includes pre dinner fizz, 2 glasses of wine plus a top up).
Booking Meals Without Single Sign On (SSO)
If you are a member category that does not have a single sign on issued by the university or college (Associate Member, Common Room Members, Alumni etc). Please download and fill in this Click Collect Lunch Booking Form and send it to Food and Beverage Manager Harriet Quint. If you have issues accessing the form please contact Harriet direct at email@example.com. You will be asked to pay for your meal by credit/debit card on collection. Please note we have no cash facilities in the dining room.
