The Principal’s Fund aspires to enable Green Templeton to offer a transformational student experience regardless of means, geography or background.
The fund was launched in 2019 as a focus of Professor Denise Lievesley during her final year as Principal. Announcing the Fund at the House of Commons, she described how during her tenure she ‘has been particularly inspired and made optimistic about the world by our student body. As rich as it is for the diversity and areas of focus, there is a common theme about some of the world’s best young minds concentrated and committed to effecting real change in the world’.
As a graduate college, we are acutely aware that many courses include research or other academic activities that not all students can afford equally. We are keen to level the playing field, providing access to financial support, through a competitive application process, to enable students to engage with these key academic activities.
