Oxford Open Doors 2023

Green Templeton will again be participating in Oxford Open Doors, welcoming members of the public to the college.

Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the 18th century Radcliffe Observatory, the present-day Radcliffe Meteorological Station, the beautiful college gardens.

Members of the Oxford Astrophysics department will also be running a series of hands-on space themed activities in the Stables, the gardens and the Observatory itself. This will include scale models of the planets, a solar telescope, gravity ball experiments and an infrared camera that uses similar technology to that in the James Webb Space Telescope.

Oxford Open Doors is now in its 16th year and one of the most successful Heritage Open Day events in the country.
