The Coaching Programme

  • Do you want to enhance your personal and professional development?
  • Do you face questions or challenges you would like to explore?
  • Would you like some help unlocking your full potential?
  • Would you like to work individually with a qualified coach in a confidential environment to answer these and/or other questions you might be facing?

If so then please consider joining the Green Templeton Coaching Programme.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a process of guided conversations to help a coachee [client or student] be better able to do what they want to do e.g. improve your skills and capabilities, make the best of yourself and your opportunities in relation to your current circumstances, explore questions, issues or challenges, consider new action plans or approaches to concerns. The coach helps you achieve these aims by encouraging reflection, enabling insights and exploring possibilities with you. This powerful process is highly sought after by top executives.

The programme has been underway in the college for the past 11 years with great success.

All students at GTC are eligible to join the programme during their time in Oxford. MBA students are encouraged to join the Saïd Business School MBA Leadership Coaching Programme. The GTC programme begins in October/November each year and runs through until July the following year, with scheduling determined individually between student and coach.

Coaching sessions

The first step is to attend a launch session (You must attend a briefing session to be eligible to apply). They are held in-person and via Zoom, in the first half of  Michaelmas Term (October/November). Details of these sessions are in the Atlas workshops schedule. Following the information session, you will be asked to complete a brief application.
