Bachelor in Economics and Bachelor in Political Science, Master in Economics at Universidad de la República (UDELAR -Uruguay). Social and political activist since 2003. I served as Deputy Director of the Planning and Budget Office of the Presidency, a ministerial rank office, which focuses on national budgeting, SOEs ownership, long term planning, public policy M&E, SDGs compliance, and regional development from August 2017 to March 2020. I was Director of the National Youth Institute of the Ministry of Social Development in Uruguay from March 2015 to July 2017. Since 2008 I work in the public sector in the design and implementation of public policies. I started as an assistant in the Ministry of Social Development in 2008 and later on, among other activities, I was in charge of the elaboration and supervision of the National Youth Plan, as well as M&E of its main programs. I also coordinated projects with international funding (UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UN Women, IDB). I worked as a teacher in areas of economics and mathematics (2008-2016).
