Dr Federica De Stefano
Dr Federica De Stefano is a Research Fellow at Green Templeton College and Associate Professor of Organisation Studies at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
Federica’s research examines how organisations manage people. In particular, she is interested in how workplace practices affect employees’ career and health outcomes. Much of her research is quantitative, based on organisational field studies and large administrative data.
Federica is passionate about teaching how data can improve people management. She was featured among the 2024 Best 40-Under-40 MBA professors by Poets&Quants.
Before joining Oxford, Federica was an Assistant Professor of Management and Human Resources at HEC Paris. She was also a Post-Doctoral Fellow, and is currently a Senior Fellow, at Wharton People Analytics, University of Pennsylvania. She holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management, a MSc in International Management, a BA in Management from Bocconi University (Italy), and a MSc in Management Science and Corporate Management from Fudan University (China).
