Professor Juliet Cheetham OBE
Professor Juliet Cheetham OBE is a Radcliffe Common Room Member at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford.
Juliet was a Founding Fellow of Green College when it was established in 1979 with Sir Richard Doll as the first warden. Alongside medical students the college was also then a home for graduate social work students who could qualify at the university.
In 1986 Juliet went to Stirling University to establish a research centre funded by the ESRC and the Scottish Office to evaluate the effectiveness of social work services. She then returned to social work in the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland and later in the Inspectorate.
Juliet now lives near Oxford and is a member of the Scottish Tribunal Service. She also volunteers for Citizens Advice.
