Dr Katherine Tucker
Dr Katherine Tucker is an Associate Fellow at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford.
A biologist by background, I have over 20 years of experience working in academic research relating to human health. My research expertise is in cardiovascular pathology and diagnosis. I work within the hypertension team in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care on projects involving pregnancy and postpartum management of cardiovascular risk, and on studies to support improvements in hypertension management in the general population. I line-manage researchers and supervise PhD, MSc and undergraduate students.

I have successfully attained grants from the NIHR School for Primary Care Research, NIHR Applied Research Collaboration and Health Education England. I have been a senior investigator for 18 grants totalling over £8m, of which I have led eight. These include interdisciplinary projects collaborating across University Departments and the wider NIHR infrastructure.

I am the training and career development lead for the Oxford and Thames Valley Applied Research Collaboration (ARC).
