Dr Liam Barrett

Dr Liam Barrett a Teaching Associate, Green Templeton College, University of Oxford and an Emergency Medicine trainee with a strong interest in clinical academia and medical education. He holds additional qualifications in Urgent and Emergency Care and Healthcare Leadership and has previously completed the NIHR Academic Foundation Programme and an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship.

He is currently undertaking a DPhil in Medical Sciences at the University of Oxford, where his research focuses on trauma, ageing, and bleeding risk in older adults.

As a Teaching Associate on the Academic Matching Programme, Dr Barrett is keen to support students in exploring research opportunities across a range of clinical and academic disciplines. He is particularly passionate about breaking down barriers to research involvement and encouraging students from all backgrounds to engage with academic work.
