Flourishing in stressful environments: How to help yourself and others

Part of the Atlas Programme

Saturday 30 November 2024   10:00 to 15:00

This workshop was originally developed by academic mental health specialist Sarah Stewart-Brown to help health professionals thrive in the taxing environment of the NHS, but it has proven popular among people from many walks of life — it’s not just for medics and health practitioners!

The day-long in-person session will help you develop a deeper understanding of personal wellbeing, what determines it, and how it can be enhanced. It offers:

  • new insights into resilience and wellbeing;
  • approaches and practices that are effective, transportable, and easy to adopt;
  • a moment to take stock of your situation, decide what can be changed and what canโ€™t;
  • and if you are training or working in health, take away ideas for your patients as well as yourself.
