In this interactive workshop with Dr Jamie Gallagher, you will explore the research impact landscape discovering how to create changes and benefits beyond the academic. From planning engagement projects to working with communities, this session will show you how to create high quality projects tailored to your subject and skills. You will also explore ways of breaking down complex academic topics into simple and sharable narratives.

Dr Jamie Gallagher is a science communicator and the leading engagement trainer in the UK. Specialising in impact narratives and evaluation, he has delivered workshops for researchers from universities, the Royal Society, and many other major academic institutions.

Places on this workshop are very limited and will be allocated based on your answers to a short application form (below). The workshop is open to postgraduate students, at any career stage, with a clearly defined research project planned or in process.
