Engaging with policy around care

Senior Research Fellow and Convenor of the Care Initiative Professor Mary Daly led a delegation of college members at a reception for social care nursing at the Houses of Parliament.

The invitation-only event hosted by Baroness Watkins of Tavistock included remarks from Minister of State for Care Stephen Kinnock MP. It brought together leaders, practitioners, and champions of social care to shine a light on the invaluable work of nurses within the sector. It was organised by The Outstanding Society.
