Professor Derrick-Philippe Gosselin recognised by H.M. King Philippe of the Belgians

Derrick GosselinAssociate Fellow Professor Derrick-Philippe Gosselin has been incorporated into Belgian Nobility with the title of Baron by HM King Philippe in a Royal Decree published on 1 October 2021.

Derrick-Philippe said  ‘I am tremendously honoured and grateful, by this royal recognition, but even more so by the trust H.M. King Philippe has put in me.’

Professor Baron Gosselin (Derrick-Philippe) is an Associate Fellow of Green Templeton College and Oxford Martin Associate Fellow. He is Professor of Strategy at Ghent University and the founder and director of the Institute for Futures Research at Ghent University, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. He is currently also Chair of the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre SCK CEN and Vice Chair of the OLV Hospital Aalst.

He specialises in complex (long term) decision making in turbulent and uncertain environments applied to business (strategy – marketing – innovation) and government (energy – water – technology).

H.M. King Philippe visited Green Templeton College in January 2009.
