Frances Keohane
MSc Criminology and Criminal Justice, 2025
My name is Frances, and I am a recent graduate from Yale University, where I majored in History (with a focus on Law, Politics, and Government). Although a proud New Yorker, I am excited to explore Oxford and the UK (I am also a proud Tottenham fan).
I have a longstanding interest in criminal justice and criminal justice reform in the United States. I have spent the last 5+ years studying and exploring law and criminal justice in and beyond the classroom, approaching the field through lenses of law, policy, non-profit work, advocacy, writing, and more. I am excited to take a more comparative and global–and scholarly–approach to criminal justice and law at Oxford, where I will be undertaking an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
In my free time, I love to play soccer (football), run, hike, read, and bake!
