Jenna LteifMSc Social Science of the Internet, 2024

Hi! I’m Jenna, and I will be pursuing an MSc in Social Science of the Internet at the Oxford Internet Institute. Prior to joining the OII, I studied Psychology with a minor in Communication at the University of Ottawa and worked in public affairs for the Government of Canada. I’m looking forward to exploring the ways digital technologies like AI and social media can affect human behaviour and social relationships.

In my free time, I enjoy yoga, films/TV, reading, and playing games with friends. I am very excited to be joining the GTC community this fall!

Hi, I am Dorottya and I graduated from the War Studies Department of King’s College London where I obtained my BA International Relations Hons degree. I am especially interested in defense and security issues, with a special focus on NATO and other transatlantic defense initiatives, intelligence and emerging technologies.

Building upon my undergraduate experience, I am very excited to be joining the MSc Social Science of the Internet course. Given this opportunity, I hope to further my knowledge in the intersection of technology (mainly AI) and security. During my time at Oxford Internet Institute, I plan on continuing to research topics on AI-enabled disinformation and the changing character of war driven by technological innovation.

I am excited to get involved in the GTC and Oxford community. I enjoy discussions around foreign policy and international relations of all sorts. I love doing sports, especially running and synchronized swimming, reading and travelling, especially to interesting Eastern places.

My background lies in public policy and philosophy of technology.
Furthermore, I have gained work experience in consulting, the European Parliament and the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

In my leisure time I particularly enjoy meditation, French rap and meeting friends outside!
