Visa information

Opening a bank account
Once you arrive in Oxford, you’re encouraged to open a UK or online bank account as soon as possible. The university provides information on how to open a bank account in the UK, what documentation you will need, and what services the banks can provide for you. Refer to the Finance and Banks tab on the university’s web guidance page for International Students.
Pre-sessional English course
The University of Oxford Language Centre offers an online pre-sessional English course. It is a six-week intensive programme that will provide students with the necessary academic writing and speaking skills for studying in English at Oxford.
