Adam Buckland
Master of Business Administration
2021
Please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’m here to learn about as many different fields and perspectives as I possibly can, and excited to share my own insight.
My experience as a PwC Strategy consultant has given me the opportunity to contribute to South Africa’s private and public sectors in the industries of M&A, economics, and tertiary education. My motivation to analyse and improve efficiency in society and the economy has led me to Oxford to study the bridge between government and business, by completing a Master of Public Policy (2020-21) as well as an MBA (2021-22), and applying these insights as an econometrician at the Bank of England (2021). I have a keen interest in systems thinking, especially applied to entrepreneurship and development economics, as humanity continues to make sense out of the Fourth Industrial Revolution during this century. This fascination arose during my time at PwC, when I was tasked with publishing the firm’s 2019 Technology Report.
I love spending free time in the peacefulness of nature, especially while learning about someone else’s take on the world, and their diverse experiences.
