I am a DPhil Politics student with a regional focus on Latin America. In my research I study recent urban security and governance programmes undertaken in cities across Latin America, drawing on state building theory in order to explain variation in their outcomes.

I am funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and Green Templeton College through the Sir David Watson Scholarship.
