Ola Abuzaid

Hi everyone! I’m Ola, a medical doctor from Sudan and a Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholar currently pursuing an MSc in Applied Cancer Science at the Department of Oncology.

I earned my medical degree from Erciyes University in Türkiye and have clinical experience spanning Sudan and Poland.

My interests lie in precision oncology, with a particular focus on pancreatic cancer and targeted cancer therapies. I’m passionate about making cancer care more inclusive and accessible.

Outside of academics, I love traveling, reciting poetry, public speaking, and watching live debates. I’m really looking forward to connecting with other students across disciplines and creating meaningful memories together.
