Saksham Kapoor
Master of Business Administration, 2023
Cookie man, developer, consultant, accountant, in that order.
This is how I’ve described myself in my Instagram bio since 2017. While it isn’t a perfect summation of me, it is a good starting point! I manufacture cookies for a living, use software to optimise everything I do, do R&D consulting work as my side hustle and am an accountant by qualification.
My world is immensely varied but growth is the thread tying it together. I love expanding Divine and seeing new products on shelves across Australia. Automation and process optimisation are core interests of mine to channel time away from BAU work towards growth opportunities. I enable businesses to further their R&D work and optimise operations. I completed my CA to grow my technical skillset but there’s more to that.
I am an Associate Director at Divine Foods Aust., my family business and one of the largest industrial bakeries in Australia. I am directly responsible for a workforce of 35, lead the development of new markets, customers and products, and am the first point of contact for customers and suppliers. I am 2IC for the business, dealing with all facets of operations, compliance, management and strategy. I have developed new software solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform unlocking 500+ hours annual labour savings. I have been heavily involved in our expansion into IGAs, Foodworks, cafes and foodservice. Our range has grown from 4 to 60+ products since 2020.
I am the Digital Lead and Marketing Lead for YSPN (multiple roles), a NFP with 5 chapters across A/NZ. I undertook and implemented a digital transformation onto the Microsoft 365 stack, unlocking efficiencies and enhancing collaboration for a team of over 60 volunteers. I oversaw a marketing strategy reaching over 300,000 users annually. I sit on the Executive and actively guide organisation strategy and execution, and helped write the 5 year 2020 strategy.
I have been passionate about volunteering from a young age and have been a part of the Movember campaign since 2009, raising over $14,500 for the cause. I was the Deloitte Sydney Movember Champion for 3 years, organising the Movember campaign for the Sydney and Parramatta offices (~40 volunteers), and coordinating with the national campaign. I have also volunteered for the Salvation Army and World Vision.
If you have an interest in manufacturing, food, FMCG, volunteering or automation, feel free to drop me a line at any time.
