Taiwo Olawole

Master of Public Policy, 2022

I am a Nigerian Diplomat, passionate about Sustainable Development and Public Policy, with a Bachelors in International Studies and Public Law and Masters in International Relations and Strategic Studies.

I am interested it the impacts of foreign and development policies on local issues and grass-root challenges. With a focus on multilateral diplomacy, I have served in Nigerian Permanent Mission to the UN in New York. I now serve at Nigerian Mission to the AU, where focus on peace and security, Women and Trade development in Africa.

Since 2014, I have constantly been part of Nigerian delegation to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

I speak fluent Yoruba, English and French. Beyond diplomacy, I love public speaking, and I founded the Eloquent Orators, a group that builds confidence in public speaking for young public servants.

In 2020, I published a book titled, A Walk in the Desert, Diary of a Nigerian Scholar in Morocco and a call to building the Nigeria of our dreams.
