Professor Fadi Issa
Professor Fadi Issa is a Governing Body Fellow, Green Templeton College and Chair of Transplantation, University of Oxford. He is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Burns Surgeon.
Fadi leads a research team dedicated to developing new cell therapies that could make organ transplants safer and longer lasting, with the ultimate goal of reducing the need for lifelong medication.
Beyond his research and clinical work, Fadi serves as Executive Editor of the journal Transplantation and helps shape the direction of the field through his leadership roles within international scientific societies including the Transplantation Society and the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies.
