The college is developing a first-ever academic centre for long-term care in Oxford. The Centre aims to become a major agenda-setter in the reform of long-term care in the UK, responding to what experts describe as one of the most urgent and complex social challenges facing the country.

Building momentum
This first-of-its-kind Centre will build on more than a decade of momentum developed by the college’s successful Care Initiative, founded by Professor Mary Daly and launched in 2014. Since then, the Initiative has engaged with more than 1,500 practitioners, carers, academics and members of the public.
