Professor Gary Ford

Professor Gary Ford is a Governing Body Fellow of Green Templeton College and Chair of the Risk and Scrutiny Committee. He is Professor of Stroke Medicine at the University of Oxford, CEO of Health Innovation Oxford and Thames Valley, and a Consultant Stroke Physician at Royal Berkshire Hospital.

Research area

Development and evaluation of acute stroke treatment; Gary has been involved in many service innovations in UK stroke care in the last 20 years. He developed the Face Arm Speech Test now used to increase public and professional awareness of stroke.
