Dr Keren Papier

Keren Papier Profile PicDr Keren Papier is a Research Fellow at Green Templeton College, a Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) Fellow, University of Oxford, and a Senior Nutritional Epidemiologist. Her research investigates the impact of diet and nutritional status on health, particularly gastro-intestinal and metabolic health, and cancer.

Based at the Cancer Epidemiology Unit at NDPH, Keren leads a programme of research on the long-term health impacts of plant-based diets. She is the Principal Investigator for the Feeding the Future Study (FEED), and is a Co-Investigator on the MRC funded Longitudinal Population Study grant ‘EPIC-Oxford: Benefits and risks of plant-based diets’. Keren is also co-Principal Investigator of a World Cancer Research Fund grant entitled ‘PromMap: Mapping diet to cancer through the proteome’, which aims to examine the joint effect of diet and blood proteins on cancer risk.

Keren is a member of the EPIC-Oxford Steering Committee, leads nutritional research in the Million Women Study, and is a Module Lead for the Non-Communicable Diseases module as part of the MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology, NDPH, Oxford.
