Dr Radhika Chadha

Gtc PhotoDr Radhika Chadha is a Governing Body and Senior Doll Fellow, a Co-Chair of the Medical Teaching Subcommittee and a member of the Academic Committee at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford.

Radhika has nearly ten yearsโ€™ experience of teaching students at both the University of Oxford and Cambridge Medical Schools and has won awards from both for her outstanding commitment to teaching and leadership skills. She has also conceptualised and delivered national interview courses for Core Surgical Trainees in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Radhika completed her medical degree at the University of Oxford (St Catherineโ€™s College). Following Academic Foundation Programme training in Cambridge, she returned to Oxford to commence her Academic Clinical Fellowship in General Surgery funded by the National Institute of Health Research. She is a recipient of the โ€˜Young Investigator Awardโ€™ from the Royal Society of Medicine and continues with her academic General Surgical training in the Oxford University Hospitals.

Her responsibilities within college include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of teaching for the clinical medical students
  • Lead for all surgical teaching (theoretical and practical)
  • Supporting the Doll Tutorial Fellows and Teaching Associates in Green Templeton to deliver the Medical Teaching Programme
  • Academic and professional support
  • Pastoral care
  • Governing Body Fellow
  • Member of Academic Committee and Medical Teaching Subcommittee
