Dr Raghib Ali
Dr Raghib Ali is an Honorary Consultant in Acute Medicine at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and a Senior Clinical Research Associate at the MRC Epidemiology Unit at the University of Cambridge. In 2022 he was appointed Chief Medical Officer of Our Future Health. He is an Associate Fellow of Green Templeton College.
He graduated from Cambridge University in 2000 with the award of the John Addenbrookes Prize for Medicine and has since gained postgraduate degrees in Epidemiology and Public Health from the Universities of London and Oxford. He completed his clinical training in Acute Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology in Oxford in 2009 and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2013.
His main research interests are the aetiology and prevention of non-communicable diseases in populations which have not previously been studied, including populations in the UK, India and the Middle East.
