Robert Poynton

Robert Poynton Profile Pic OutsideRobert Poynton is an Associate Fellow, Green Templeton College, University of Oxford. He helps run the Oxford Praxis Forum – a research centre focused on the intersection between thinking and doing for whom he developed many events, including a series of Reading Retreats.

Beyond college, Robert designs and facilitates programmes, workshops and retreats. He uses an embodied, experiential approach, drawing on the methodology of improvisational theatre to explore how to respond effectively and gracefully to complexity and change.

He has been a contributor to the Skoll World Forum and Singularity University Global Summit. He has led courses on leadership, change and complexity at IE in Madrid, Ashridge Business School and Schumacher College.

He is the author of Do Pause, Do Improvise and Do ConversationΒ and the founder of Yellow.

He is married with three sons and lives in an off-grid house in the Sierra de Gredos in central Spain.
