Professor Sahana Rao

Professor Sahana Rao is an Associate Fellow at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford. She is the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education and Consultant Paediatrician at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

As Officer for Clinical Standards and Quality Improvement at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Sahana advocates nationally and internationally for advancing child health and patient safety. She is passionate about Quality Improvement and is the founder and lead of national award-winning program which empowers multi-professional staff to deliver continuous, sustained patient-centred improvement.

Sahana continues to be an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the University of Oxford.
