Alumni Profile: Aline Daoud

Aline DaoudAline Daoud (Executive MBA, 2023) began her career as a civil engineer after studying at the American University of Beirut before transitioning into procurement and supply chain management. Drawn to Green Templeton College for its inclusive community, excellent food, and rowing opportunities, she found the Executive MBA at Saïd Business School to be a transformative experience. The programme provided invaluable networking opportunities, real-world learning, and lifelong connections. Studying at Oxford, she felt privileged to engage with world-class faculty and industry leaders, gaining insights that continue to shape her career.

Today, Aline is Managing Partner of the Blockchain Research Institute – Middle East (BRI-ME), where she is driving blockchain adoption across governments and private sectors. She has played a key role in major events such as the Web3 Summit KSA, bridging cutting-edge innovation with real-world applications. Her mission is to advance blockchain education and implementation in finance, supply chain, and government, ensuring the Middle East remains at the forefront of technological transformation.

Beyond blockchain, Aline is committed to empowering women in traditionally male-dominated industries. As Managing Director of Konnect & Co., a leading procurement and construction company operating across Lebanon, Qatar, the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, she leads an all-women team. Under her leadership, the company serves high-end clients, including luxury hotel chains such as Hilton, retailers like Galeries Lafayette and airlines like Qatar Airways.

In 2025, Aline was recognized as “Women Entrepreneur of the Year” at the MENA Women Leaders’ Summit, an award that celebrates outstanding women leaders in business. She dedicated this achievement to her women-led team at Konnect & Co., championing the role of women in engineering, procurement, and construction. Passionate about increasing female representation in business, she continues to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that women have a strong voice in shaping the future of industries traditionally dominated by men.

From expanding her business across the Middle East to mentoring women in tech and leadership, Aline is breaking barriers and paving the way for future female leaders in the region.
