Alumni Profile: Amira Bhaiji

Amira Bhaiji (Clinical Medicine, 2020) is a practising NHS Internal Medicine Doctor whose work sits at the intersection of medicine, artificial intelligence, and digital innovation. Alongside her clinical practice, she serves on the Clinical Advisory Boards of Sanome and Daye, supporting the development of technologies that improve patient care and advance women’s health.

She is one of the digital leads supporting the implementation of the first AI programme at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, helping to drive the safe adoption of artificial intelligence within clinical practice. Amira is also an Honorary Research Fellow in Cardiology and Intensive Care Medicine at Harefield Hospital, where she has published research focused on improving cardiovascular outcomes in the most critical patients.

Passionate about the future of healthcare, Amira has been invited to speak on artificial intelligence and digital health at the University of Cambridge and at international events in the United States. Most recently, she founded a health technology startup developing AI-powered clinical software designed to help clinicians rapidly retrieve, synthesise, and utilise patient information across NHS and private healthcare settings, with the aim of improving efficiency, safety, and patient care.

Amira is committed to bridging the worlds of clinical medicine, research, and entrepreneurship, translating emerging technologies into practical solutions that improve healthcare delivery while supporting the next generation of innovation within the NHS.

Amira completed her pre-clinical training at Lady Margaret Hall before joining Green Templeton College.
