Meeting Minds is a yearly programme of events exclusively for Oxford alumni featuring live talks, panels and tours, plus opportunities to network.

This year, it is taking place between Friday 18 and Sunday 20 September 2026 with a special series of events hosted at Green Templeton College.

Osler Lecture: accelerating Oxford into the AI Age - cancer vaccines, robotics and the rise of intelligent medicine

Join Research Fellow Dr Lennard Lee as he delivers the prestigious Osler Lecture as part of the university’s Meeting Minds 2026 weekend. This talk explores how the University of Oxford is helping to lead a new era of medicine shaped by artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced immunology.

Accelerating Oxford into the AI age, this talk explores how AI, robotics, and immunology are enabling personalised cancer vaccines. Centred on the UK Cancer Vaccine AI Scientist Project, it highlights continuously learning systems, autonomous labs, and sovereign supercomputing, transforming discovery speed, improving patient outcomes, and positioning Oxford at the forefront of intelligent, data-driven medicine.

Annual alumni dinner

Hosted by Principal Sir Michael Dixon, this four-course dinner is an intimate gathering for those wanting a walk down memory lane, bridging past with present experience of college dinner. Booking early is recommended as this event quickly sells out every year.
