Green Templeton was pleased to bring together current supporters with a range of students benefiting from funding through college on Thursday 7 November.

The reception in the Tower Room of the Radcliffe Observatory featured brief remarks from four current students who have benefitted from donated income in different ways.

Kenzie Isaac Speaking At LecternKenzie Isaac (DPhil Population Health, 2023) spoke passionately about the college’s investment in fostering equality, diversity and inclusion. She spoke emotionally about late Associate Fellow Bob Arnott and the conversations they had on accessibility – his physical limitations and her experience as a woman of colour.

Alexander Hasson Speaking At LecternGraduate Common Room (GCR) Committee President Alexander Hasson (DPhil Oncology, 2022) told guests of the amazing, supportive environment at college, and how it is a ‘privilege to be a student here.

Christiane Hagel (DPhil Clinical Medicine, 2019) spoke about how college has been an incubator for her work on FemTech, providing opportunities including through the success of the Human Welfare Conference 2024, which she chaired.

Reef Ronel Addressing Guests At LecternRichard Doll Society (RDS) President Reef Ronel (Clinical Medicine, 2022) thanked supporters for the extraordinary opportunities that enable for medical students and important role of RDS among medical students.

Principal Sir Michael Dixon and Director of Development and Alumni Engagement Ceri Butcher both spoke of how the college is grateful to all its supporters.
