Family-friendly Panto brings ‘Beauty and the Beast’ to life for families at Green Templeton

On the evening of Tuesday 26 November, Green Templeton’s students and their young families filled into the Stables Bar, which had been transformed into a royal palace by Chaplins Pantos4Kids to tell the classic tale of Beauty & The Beast.

Over 30 children, their parents, and even the Principal participated enthusiastically (and noisily) as the flexible cast of just three actors produced lively singalongs, colourful costumes, and many pantomime classics such as the “they’re behind you!!!” routine. All in all it was a magical evening of pantomime and the perfect start to the Christmas season for the young families of Green Templeton College.

It was the second time the college has hosted this free pantomime; organised by the Graduate Common Room and Principal Denise Lievesley.
Green Templeton is proud to be a family-friendly college, and hosts events for families throughout the year such as the family-friendly panto, children’s movie screenings, an family brunches.
