New edition of Professor Keith Frayn’s book Human Metabolism: A Regulatory Perspective published
A new edition of Green Templeton Emeritus Fellow Professor Keith Frayn‘s bestselling book, Human Metabolism: A Regulatory Perspective, has been published.
The previous editions were solely Professor Frayn’s work. This fourth edition has been co-written with Rhys Evans from the Department of Physiology, Anatomy & Genetics at the University of Oxford, and a Fellow of Keble College.
It offers a current and integrated review of human metabolism and metabolic regulation and covers topics including energy balance, body weight regulation, and exercise.
This fourth edition includes new full colour text design and illustrations, extended content on metabolic pathways and metabolic diseases, additional explanatory text, and chapter summaries.
The E-book edition, published by Wiley-Blackwell, is available HERE now.
In February, Professor Frayn chaired the launch of the second edition of the British Nutrition Foundation’s (BNF) Task Force report on Cardiovascular Disease: Diet, Nutrition and Emerging Risk Factors.
Professor Frayn was also Chair of the Task Force.
