Kevin Morgan (1947 – 2024)

Former Lodge team member and well-loved member of the community Kevin Morgan died on Monday 30 December 2024.

Kevin worked in college from 2008 to 2021 as a night porter, a friendly face at the first point of contact for successive generations of students, colleagues and others he met.

After retiring from full time employment, he continued to work in college on a casual basis. He is remembered for regularly returning to work all night at the summer Ball.

Various colleagues remember him fondly for his sense of humour, ‘a joy to work with and smiling memories’ remarked one.

Kevin was former father-in-law to Deputy Lodge Manager Jamie Brooks and grandfather to waiting staff member Jesse Morgan-Brooks.
